New Delhi: In the wake of Pulwama attack, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, on Thursday, threatened that India would 'choke' the water supply.

He further said that a project is being worked upon to connect the three rivers to further explore the possibilities of transportation in these water channels.

Gadkari’s warning from the Centre comes on the backdrop of the February 14 attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the death of 40 CRPF personnel. A day later, the high-powered Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had revoked the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status granted to Pakistan.

Following Pulwama attack demand of not to play with Pakistan is also raising. Recently, veteran Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh had said that the Indian team should not play the World Cup match at Old Trafford on June 16. Former Indian cricketers Sourav Ganguly and Chetan Chauhan too spoke on similar lines. Meanwhile, tennis player Sania Mirza, wife of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, called for peace instead of hatred.
