The winter session of Parliament has started on Monday. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar arrived in South Korean automaker Hyundai's Kona SUV car to participate in the parliamentary proceedings. During this time, he appealed people to travel in electric cars and public transport.

What are the features - Talking about the features, the new Kona EV include Bluelink connectivity. This is the same technology that has been incorporated in the recently introduced Venue. Features such as automatic climate control, LED projector headlamps and DRLs, electric sunroof, rain sensing wipers can be replaced in the car. The Kona features 6-airbags, EBD with ABS, electronic stability control, hill assist, rear camera with guide lines and tire pressure monitoring system.

Top speed of 100 kmph in 9 seconds - This kona electric car from Hyundai generates torque of 394.9 Nm. The Kona is equipped with a 32.9 kwh battery, which helps in catching the speed of 100 kmph in just 9 seconds.

Mileage certified by ARAI - The new Kona Electric SUV can run up to 452 kilometers on full charge. This mileage is certified by ARAI.

Charge in how many minutes - Talking about the charging time, the Kona Electric DC Fast Charger gets 80 percent charge in just 57 minutes. On one side it is fully charged in 6 hours 10 minutes with AC level two chargers.

How much is the price - kona was introduced in India on July 9 this year. At that time, its ex-showroom price was Rs 25.30 lakh. But now after reducing the GST rate, now the company has increased its price to Rs 23,72 lakh.
