New Delhi: Union Minister Sanjeev Balian's reaction has come to the fore about the cases of bird flu in India. Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries Minister Sanjeev Balian said that there is no cure for it, in which case the State Governments should take all necessary measures. He also told a relief that it can spread to humans, but no such case has come up yet.

Union Minister Sanjeev Balian has said, 'Currently, bird flu cases have been found in 5 states (Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala). It is also transmitted in poultry, although it is found in wild and migratory birds. It can spread to humans as well, but no such case has yet come to light. If this happens, there is no cure for it.

In Rajasthan, there have been cases of bird flu in ravens in Baran, Kota and Jhalawar, while in Madhya Pradesh, Mandsaur, Indore and Malwa have also reported bird flu. While bird flu has been found in migratory birds in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Bird flu has been found in poultry duck i.e. domestic duck at four places in Kottayam and Alapuzha in Kerala, South India.
