Amethi: Union Minister Smriti Irani on Saturday on her two-day visit, inaugurates many projects in  Amethi, where she is launching three oxygen plants at different places, she will also review health facilities. She inspected a trauma center in Jagdishpur, where she said, ''Amethi was deprived of various facilities for 70 years. There was not a single oxygen plant in Amethi, but today there are seven oxygen plants. In the area of medical oxygen, Amethi has become self-reliant.''

Smriti Irani reached Achalpur, the house of former MLA Tejbhan Singh at the mid-noon hours, on Saturday and then to reach Alipur, the village of BJP leader Rajiv Shukla, to express condolences on the death of his mother. Smriti will reach the trauma center located at Jagdishpur at 12:20.


After doing the on-site inspection of the building constructed here, she is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various projects. After this, the inauguration and foundation stone of several projects at Benipur in Amethi, ACC cement factory located at Tikaria in Gauriganj and Oxygen Plant at District Hospital at 4:15 pm will be inaugurated and inspected the vaccination program.

On Sunday, at the Smriti Collectorate, Irani will review the preparations and plans for the third wave of Covid. After this, she will inaugurate-lay several projects at Rajiv Gandhi Petroleum Institute, Bahadurpur and participate in ABVP's program.
