New Delhi: There have always been questions about the weight of school students, but now the news we are going to give you will make you happy. The government has recently passed a major decision. The government has prepared a new bag policy regarding children's bags. According to this policy, the weight of school children will not be more than 10% of their weight. The weight of the bag of students studying in the first class has been fixed on an average of 1.6 to 2.2 kg, while the weight of the bag of students studying in class XII is now said to be between 3.5 to 5 kg on average.

There has been said to be no bags for children studying in pre-primary. The Union Ministry of Education has asked all the states and union territories to adopt this rule from the new academic session. Now weighing machines will also be installed in schools to check the weight of children's bags. Publishers will also have to print their weight behind books. It is being said that there will be a total of three books for the first-class students, whose total weight will be 1,078 grams.

There will be a total of six books for students studying in XII, whose weight has been fixed at 4,182 grams. A timetable will also have to be prepared for studies. A high level committee was set up by the Ministry of Education to determine the weight of the bag of the students and after detailed survey, the committee has finalized it.
