Kanker: A rare species of organism has been found from the Kanker district of Chhattisgarh. The people of the village are also surprised to see the rare animal in the forests of Dudhwa forest range. After receiving the news, the forest department team has taken the rare creature under its protection. According to the forest department, they had received news of a rare animal being spotted on the roadside near Kotalbhathi village. When the forest department team reached the spot, they were also surprised.  

In fact, the creature that the people of the village caught and handed over to the forest staff was not a common animal but a Honey badger considered to be the most fearless animal in the world. Honey Badger is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as 'Most Fearless Creature'. This creature is considered to be very dangerous, fearless, intelligent and clever. It is one of the world's protected organisms.

The forest department team has taken possession of the Honey badger. He is being taken care of. Due to the rapid decline in the figure of this creature of the Bijju species in the last one and a half decades, it has been kept in the category of extinct wildlife. Honey badger, a rare creature, has been seen for the first time in Bastar's Kanker area. According to forest department officials, the Honey badger belongs to the Mustelidae family and the Melivora species. This creature is hunted because of skins, fur, and cosmetics. The coastal forest of Kanker, where this rare wildlife has been found, falls under the border area of the Kanker, Kondagaon and Dhamtari districts. Due to the presence of the Sitanadi Sanctuary near this forest, the possibility of this animal coming from that area is being expressed.
