Diwali is going to be very special this time in Shri Ram's city of Ayodhya because after 492 years, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram will shine with the lamps.  The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has ensured that this Diwali will be celebrated not only on the banks of the Saryu River in Ayodhya but also in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex.

The Deepotsav, to be held on the eve of Deepawali, will break all previous records as there is a plan to light five lakh 51 thousand diyas. The Chief Minister is busy in making it a global event. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is eyeing every single preparation for the upcoming Deepotsav from November 11 to 13.  The Chief Minister has said that Ayodhya will be established as a tourist destination all over the world. Before 2017, the Deepotsav was not held in Ayodhya, but it started in 2017 after the BJP government was formed under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath.

 The chief priest of Ram temple, Shri Acharya Satyendra Das said: “This time, Deepawali will be celebrated in Ram temple premises, it is unique and amazing. Many such incidents took place, due to which Shri Ram had to live in tarpaulin for 28 years. This time, the glimpse of Deepavali celebrated in Ayodhya in the Treta Yug will be seen,. Earthen lamps will be lighted in the entire area of the temple. `Aarti’ will be performed by the chief minister and will attract a lot of people. This Diwali will the symbol of Treta Yuga.
