Have you ever heard of a village where only daughters are born? Yes, there is a unique village on the border of Poland and the Czech Republic where only girls are born and no boys have been born in this village for the past nine years.

The name of this village is Mizske Odregenski. While a boy was last born in 2010, the boy and his family left the village and moved to another place. The population is currently close to 300, with the largest number of girls and women and boys non-existent.

The youngest boy in the village at the moment is 12 years. According to media reports, girls are born very often, though boys are born very rare and that is why it has been announced by Mayor Rezmond Frishko that the son whose house is born will receive a reward. According to the villagers, they don't know why only girls are born here. But research has been launched by a university in Poland's capital Warsaw to unravel this mystery.
