New Delhi: Britain, which is reeling under its vaccine policy on Covishield, has finally made major changes. The United Kingdom (UK) has now accepted the Covishield manufactured in India as an approved vaccine. New travel guidelines have also been issued in this regard. The government of the UK has said that if an Indian has taken the dose of the Covishield and is in the UK, he will still have to stay in quarantine. Why is that? In response, the UK government said that a 'certification' case is still pending.

State that the latest UK travel advisory will come into effect from October 4. These were released a few days ago. But it did not recognize the Covishield, which was organically caused. Now the name of the Covishield has been included in the new advisory. The new thing in the latest travel advisory is that it says, 'The formulation of four listed vaccines, including AstraZeneca, Covishield, Astrazeneca Vaxzevria, and Moderna Takeda are approved as a vaccine.'

The things that were written in the earlier order are still written. It said that the vaccine under which the vaccine was administered in the vaccination program of the UK, Europe, the United States would be considered 'fully vaccinated.' On Tuesday, Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Shringla warned the UK that India's concerns regarding travel guidelines were not addressed. It was said that India could take similar steps if Britain did not comply with the demand.
