London: Hundreds of students and others gathered near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the 'Parliament Square' in London on Saturday, 21 December 2019, against the amended citizenship law in India and the National Register of Citizens. The peaceful protest was carried out with the message of 'Save the Indian Constitution'.

In UP, many people were arrested in protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act from 10 December. During this 15 people died and 263 police personnel were injured. In a violent protest against the citizenship law to the Indian Railways, railway property worth Rs 88 crore has been damaged.
