Hamza bin Laden, son of Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, has died. Citing three U.S. officials, media reports reported that Osama bin Laden's son had been killed.

Significantly, in March this year, the US announced a $10 million reward for the address of Laden's son Hamza bin Laden. The US has said that Hamza was plotting an attack on his father to avenge his death and that was the result of such a big award announced for him.

According to report of NBC, It is unclear if the US has confirmed his death. The three officials did not provide details of where or when Hamza bin Laden died or if the US played a role in his death.

While Hamza bin Laden's name was put on its sanctions list by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Hamza's citizenship was also revoked by Saudi Arabia after the UN Security Council and the U.S. took tough decisions on Hamza and had been in the spotlight ever since. For years, the US had been trying to locate the Hamza bin Laden hideouts known as the Crown Prince of Jihad.
