August 15 is a very special day for every Indian. Every Indian's heart is connected with this day. It is the day when we got independence from British rule in the year 1947 after decades of slavery. After countless sacrifices, the day of 15 August 1947 brought great joy and hope for Indians. In the liberation of Mother India from the British, countless sons showed hard work, struggle, courage, and passion. One of the sons of India, who later became the father of the nation, that is, Mahatma Gandhi. The sacrifice of Mahatma Gandhi is also incomparable in the independence of the country. He spent his entire life in liberating the country. He had seen India becoming independent, but during that time he could not hear the speech given by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. On the night of India's independence, Pandit Nehru gave his speech 'Tryst with Destiny' from Viceroy Lodge on the midnight of 14 August, Pandit Nehru's speech was heard by the whole world, but Mahatma Gandhi could not hear it. This is because this speech was given at midnight and Mahatma Gandhi left for rest at 9 am that day.

Not only this, Mahatma Gandhi could not even participate in the celebration of India's independence. This is because on 15 August, Gandhi was in Noakhali, West Bengal, thousands of kilometers away from New Delhi. Tere was communal violence between Hindu and Muslim at this place and Mahatma Gandhi was on hunger strike for this.
