Dehradun: Corona epidemic has put the whole world in a state of despair. As of May 31 in the lockdown period, the total COVID-19 patients in Uttarakhand was 802. In a lockdown, the number of deaths of COVID-19 infected was five, the number has reached 98 during the lockdown-3. The speed of COVID-19 cases can also be estimated from the fact that the number of containment zones in the state has also increased to 369. The number of containment zones in Haridwar city is 326. There are 748 active cases in Haridwar. After that, Udham Singh Nagar city comes on number 2, where 28 areas have been made hotspots. Udham Singh Nagar is also second in the case of active cases. The number of active cases is 692.

In the meanwhile, the speed of sampling has also increased in the state. Where earlier there were about one thousand tests every day, now their number has reached near three thousand. But at the same time, the sample of backlog samples is also increasing. Currently, more than nine thousand samples are awaiting testing. Along with this, COVID-19 is gradually increasing its scope with speed. No area is missing, where COVID-19 positives are not coming out. On Thursday, 33 army personnel were found positive in Uttarkashi. These jawans were stationed in border post areas like Nelang, adjoining China.
