Unnao: The investigation of the first FIR in the Unnao rape case has been completed. According to sources, the CBI is preparing to file its report in the Lucknow court soon. The CBI is taking this step after recording the statement of the rape victim admitted in AIIMS. According to sources, the case is registered in which a girl was a gang-raped in a house in Kanpur. She was kept in a house for a couple of days and the culprits used to rape her.

The CBI has completed the investigation against the three accused of gang rape, Shubham Singh, Naresh Tiwari and Brijesh Yadav and has also prepared its report. This case is related to the accused named in the first FIR registered in the Unnao rape case. This FIR was lodged by the victim's mother on 20 June 2017. All three were arrested earlier, but in a short time all three came out on bail.

Earlier, the CBI has filed a charge sheet against the main accused MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar of the case and his female partner Shashi under sections 120B, 363, 366, 376 and 506 of IPC. The second charge sheet was filed by the CBI against five accused (Atul, Vineet, Buwa, Sonu Shashi alias Suman) under sections 34, 147, 148, 149, 323, 504, 506 and 302 of the IPC.
