Gorakhpur: Three people including a bank worker died in a road accident in the country's biggest state of Uttar Pradesh, Deoria. This incident happened on Salempur-Deoria's main road at around 1.30 pm on Monday night. There was an uproar in the family on receiving the news of the death.

Police reached at the place after getting information and took the bodies and sent it for postmortem. However, the police have not received any information from any other side in this case. Jitendra Singh (35), a resident of Patna Hajipur in Bihar province, was posted as Assistant Manager in the State Bank of India in the city. On Monday, he had gone to Gorakhpur for some work with his Maruti car along with Bank ATM guard Bhatni police station area resident Ajay Prasad (34) and Sonbarsa village resident Dhanu Prasad (32).

After completing the work, he was returning back to Salempur. At around 1.30 pm, they had just reached near Manihari village in the Kotwali area that an unknown vehicle was hit by a high speed coming from the front. Due to which the vehicle was completely damaged. A crowd of nearby people gathered to hear the sound of a loud collision of vehicles. People hurriedly drove everyone out. two including the bank worker had died. Dhannu, who was seriously injured in the incident, died due to treatment in the morning. The police are inspecting the case.
