Lucknow: Cases of Omicron with corona virus are on the rise across the country. Up is also witnessing its impact. Record cases of corona have been reported in several cities of the state. Lucknow, Ghaziabad and Noida currently have the highest number of cases. CM Yogi has expressed concern in view of the increasing cases of corona and Omicron.

CM Yogi on Saturday said active cases of new variant Omicron of corona are on the rise. He has urged people not to panic. He has also been asked to be careful. He said the positivity rate in the state is 6 per cent on Saturday, but most of the patients are in home isolation. He said more than 22 crore people have been given corona vaccine dose stake in the state so far.

In Lucknow, 2510 corona cases were reported on Saturday. Officials say all those exposed to corona infected people are being tested. Most of the people in Aliganj area have been found positive. The virus has been found in 423 people here. 336 people have been found infected in Chinhat. In Alambagh, 309 people have been affected by the virus.
