Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh BJP unit president Swatanter Dev Singh on Monday said the party will contest the next assembly elections under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath. According to media reports, Independent Dev Singh said the UP election will be fought under the leadership of Yogiji. At the same time, he put an end to speculation that the BJP's high command wanted to join the state government ahead of next year's elections.

Swatanter Dev Singh's statement comes a day after CM Yogi said the recent high-level meeting of BJP and RSS leaders had nothing to do with his government. In fact, there is talk in the political corridors that the BJP's central leadership wants to change the state government. Former IAS officer BJP MLC AK Sharma may be given a key place in the Yogi cabinet. AK Sharma is considered close to PM Modi. Swatanter Dev Singh said party workers will soon be asked to create an atmosphere in support of the BJP over the faces of PM Modi and CM Yogi.

He said party workers will go from village to village and place the achievements of PM Modi and yogi government before the people. The party is dependent on the hard work of its workers. Recently, Swatanterdev Singh described Yogi Adityanath as the most hardworking and popular chief minister of Uttar Pradesh so far.
