Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh legislature's budget session will start on February 20. The legislative assembly will hear the state government's annual budget presentation for 2023–2024.
The government will present the second budget of its second term at this session.

The Governor Anandiben Patel will address the joint session of both Houses, the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, on the opening day of the budget session.
Condolences will be expressed on the death of Apna Dal MLA Rahul Prakash Kol on the first day of the session in the UP Assembly. After this, the budget will be presented the next day February 21. The government will also make arrangements for Pharma Park in the budget. For this, UPCIDA has sent a proposal for establishment in Lalitpur, UPCIDA will develop it. About 15 thousand crores are expected to be spent in setting up the Pharma Park.

Before the budget session, the ministers of the UP government will go to different districts and hold a seminar with the enlightened people on the budget. 19 ministers of the government will hold seminars in 19 districts from Tuesday.
