Lucknow: The counting of votes for the civic elections in Uttar Pradesh started today at 8 am on Saturday (May 13). Before getting any trend from anywhere, the tweet of Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former CM Akhilesh Yadav has come to the fore. Akhilesh, who had earlier raised questions on the fairness of the Election Commission, has now made every major appeal just before the counting of votes. He said that the Election Commission should release the figures after every round, so that people's trust can be maintained. He wrote in tweeting that, 'Hope the Election Commission will keep telling the figures after each round so that public confidence remains.'
