LUCKNOW: Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, stated on Monday that his government operated under the principles of "sewa, suraksha, and sushashan" (service, security and good governance).

Addressing a press meet on the completion of 100 days in office, that his government was making progress toward keeping all of its manifesto commitments.

"After 37 years, the people finally put their trust in the double-engine government, which helped us win a resounding majority for a second term. To create Uttar Pradesh self-sufficient, we are implementing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas, and sabka prayas" philosophy," he said.

The BJP won both of the by-elections for the Lok Sabha after the Assembly elections, and it also secured a majority in the Vidhan Parishad elections. He declared, "The Vidhan Parishad is now Congress-mukt."

The chief minister stated that creating an economy worth one trillion dollars was one of his government's top targets for the second term. "We will work in a time-constrained manner and have picked ten sectors for this. In each sector, ministerial groups will work", he added.

The chief minister claimed that over the previous five years, his government had fought to establish the rule of law by battling nepotism, family politics, casteism, and poor governance.  Yogi reaffirmed the government's zero-tolerance attitude towards crime and said that during the previous 100 days, mafia-owned property worth Rs. 844 crore had been seized.
