Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a video conference today at his government residence. During this, he reviewed all the preparations for the 'Magh Mela 2020-21' in Prayagraj district and the Sant Samagam-2021 to be held from February 16 to March 28 in Vrindavan, Mathura. In this video conferencing, he said, 'These events are important. They should be organized on the basis of high standards like Prayagraj Kumbh-2019. Follow the covid protocol for sure. Cleanliness of Ganga ji and Vrindavan in Prayagraj and Yamuna ji in Mathura should be ensured. Regarding these two events, all the concerned department should ensure constant reviews at their level.

Along with this, while conducting a weekly / fortnightly review at the Chief Secretary level, he directed to inform the Chief Minister's office about the preparations and progress of the events. Apart from this, he also said in his instructions that all facilities should be provided by making high level arrangements for the devotees coming especially in the 'Magh Mela' and 'Sant Samagam'. Also, all security arrangements should be made. Further in the video conferencing, he said, 'No agreement should be made in relation to providing facilities and security in the fair area. There should be complete management of sanitation, sanitization for all the devotees who come to Magh Mela and Sant Samagam.

The Chief Minister further said that the covid test is necessary for the pilgrims coming to Magh Mela and Sant Samagam to protect against Kovid-19 infection, and to test covid-19 infection before entering the area. Be from Having a negative report will facilitate entry into the area. This report should not be out of date. After this, devotees should be examined through rapid antigen tests in the fair area.
