Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has issued instructions for general reading in state universities, private universities and colleges. An official information has come out, according to which the University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued higher guidelines. According to these guidelines, normal reading will begin in classes from 23 November to avoid coronavirus infection.

Due to Corona, normal classes were closed in higher education institutions for the past several months, although online classes were going on. As such, now Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education, Monica S. Garg has sent a letter to all district magistrates, director of higher education Prayagraj, registrar of all state universities, registrars of all private universities on Tuesday and issued a government order regarding studies.

If the mandate is accepted, classes will be conducted outside the prohibited area with certain restrictions. Further, it is stated that 50% of the rated capacity of any closed space hall or room and a maximum of 200 persons will be allowed to operate the class with the availability of masks, safe distance, thermal scanning, sanitizer and handwash. Teachers, students and employees will be required to wear identity cards. It is said that 50% of the students will be allowed to attend classes on a rotation basis. It has been asked to create an educational calendar to avoid congestion on campus.
