Lucknow: A dam has broken in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh. It is being told that this dam has broken due to the rapid flow of the Budhi Rapti river. Due to this, hundreds of villages have been flooded and crops have been destroyed. The people of the village have started to save the goods of their homes. According to the report, the Ashogwa-Madarhwa dam near Sonauli Nankar located in the Etawa Tehsil area of ​​Siddharthnagar has broken. 

Due to continuous torrential rains and the rise in the water level of Rapti river, the water in Budhi Rapti river increased quickly. Due to this, the dam broke. Hundreds of villages were submerged due to the breach of the dam. People are compelled to flee with the belongings of their homes. In Siddharthnagar district, the situation is worsening with the Rapti and Budhi Rapti rivers flowing above the danger mark. Last night, the Ashogwa-Madarhwa dam collapsed near Sonauli Nankar village located in the Etawah tehsil area. Due to this people have been trying to save their belongings since night.

Tej Pratap Jaiswal, head of Sonauli Nankar has told the media that the dam has broken in our village, and water has entered everyone's houses. Very frightening situation. For this, we hold the Irrigation Department responsible. Even after giving information, no official of the Irrigation Department came. There has been a lot of damage to the crops of the farmers. Everything in everyone's house has been ruined.
