Lucknow: The country's largest state, UP, has been punished with political turmoil and parties are not shying away from levelling serious allegations against each other. After several BJP leaders joined the Samajwadi Party, the war of words between both the BJP and the Samajwadi Party is intensifying.
In Lucknow, Union Minister Anurag Thakur levelled serious allegations against the leaders who joined the SP. Anurag Thakur said that those who join the SP riot, those who join Bharatiya Janata Party catch the rioters. Anurag Thakur did not stop here, he further told that the MLA of SP is either in jail or on bail, this is his real game. It is clear that people with clean characters join the Bharatiya Janata Party. The rioters, many of whom have their hands stained with blood, join the Samajwadi Party.
Anurag Thakur has made serious allegations against the Samajwadi Party before. He has recently accused the earlier SP government in UP of promoting criminal syndicates. He praised the functioning of the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government. Thakur had said, "Take up the 5-year tenure of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's government, on the one hand, there was Gundaraj, mafia raj, and on the other hand, there were riots one after the other. But in the last five years, during Yogi Adityanath's government, riots have not been far and wide."
