Lucknow: Congress has released the 9th list of candidates for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. The names of 33 candidates are included in this list. Congress has fielded Chetna Pandey against CM Yogi from Gorakhpur Urban seat. Congress has announced candidates for 6th and 7th phase in this list. 15 women have been given tickets in this list. Rajesh Mishra has been fielded from Varanasi Cantt.

Voting is going on for the first phase in Uttar Pradesh today. In this phase, voting is going on in 58 seats in 11 districts. 623 candidates are in the fray in this phase. In the 58 seats where voting is taking place, in the 2017 elections, 53 seats were won by the BJP. Voting for the second phase in UP is to be held on February 14. After this, voting will be held on February 20, February 23, February 27, March 3 and March 7 and the results will be declared on March 10.

Let us inform that in this election, the Samajwadi Party, along with the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), is searching for political land with the help of the farmers' movement. At the same time, BJP is seeking public support in the name of riot-free Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, the question is also for the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) that how is the political journey going to be for it. All these will be decided on March 10.
