Lucknow:  A shocking incident is coming to light from Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. A woman has been gang-raped in the moving train Link Express here. The incident took place between Rajghat and Aligarh railway stations. TTE has committed rape along with one of his companions in the first AC cabin. On the complaint of the woman, the GRP has arrested TTE. At the same time, the search for another accused is going on. The woman was going to Prayagraj with her 2-year-old child.

The incident took place on January 16. However, the woman lodged a complaint five days later, on January 21, at GRP police station Chandausi. Earlier, on the evening of January 20, the victim had also called the railway's customer care number 139 for a complaint. On Saturday evening, SP GRP Moradabad Aparna Gupta reached the railway station and recorded the statement of the woman. After which the woman was sent for a medical examination. According to the report, the woman along with her two-year-old child was waiting for the Link Express train from Chandausi railway station in Sambhal to Subedarganj (Prayagraj).

Meanwhile, TTE Raju Singh, posted at Chandausi railway station, approached her. After talking, he was asked to sit in the first coach of the AC. Shortly after, TTE reached the compartment with his partner and gang-raped the woman. Moradabad CO GRP Devi Dayal said that the incident took place in an AC coach. The victim has lodged an FIR of gang rape. The woman is a resident of Chandausi. TTE is also posted there, who has been arrested.
