Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath government in the state is going to take a big decision ahead of assembly elections 2022 in up, the country's largest state. The Government has prepared to increase the retirement age of doctors from 65 to 70 years in view of corona and other diseases. According to reports, the proposal for the decision will be sealed at the cabinet meeting soon.

The same CM Yogi Adityanath has also given his nod on it. In a statement, UP Medical Education Minister Suresh Khanna said that we need doctors with more experience in particular. In Uttar Pradesh, during the deteriorating conditions of corona infection, a lot of sensitivity and strength was worked out by doctors and paramedical staff. In view of this, the Yogi Government has decided to increase the retirement age of doctors by another 5 years.

On the same side, cases of viral fever among children are on the rise in Delhi and NCR areas. Doctors have also expressed concern over the increasing number of viral cases in the capital region. About 25 to 30 per cent of children admitted to OPD are children who are suffering from fever with symptoms like cold, cough and fever in general. These include cases of swine flu along with simple viral cases. Children suffering from viral fever are suffering from fever from 102 to 103. Such children are also seeing a decline in platelet counts along with high-grade fever.
