LUCKNOW: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh will hold a ground breaking ceremony for another investors' summit in Lucknow, which is expected to take place in July, to demonstrate its commitment to industrial growth.

This time, the government intends to attract a total investment of Rs 10 lakh crore. The state government spokesman said that the Chief Minister had instructed officials to invite heads of the country's biggest corporate houses to the groundbreaking event.

The updated policy's purpose would be to create a more investor-friendly atmosphere by adding new incentives to attract company. Several new investment areas, such as drone manufacturing and cryptocurrencies, are also being investigated. There will also be provisions for tailor-made responses and case-to-case redressal of issues will also be made.

In February 2018, the first investors' summit was held, with 1,065 memorandums of understanding worth Rs 4.65 lakh crore being inked. Officials from the industry department said the deal resulted in 215 investors investing Rs 51,240.25 crore and 449 investors in the process of establishing their firms.

Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, investments remained, with 96 investors launching projects in the state.
