4 tourists arrested while offering prayers at Taj Mahal mosque

Agra: There is still a dispute over the Taj Mahal in Agra. It is being claimed that this was the first temple, which was taken over by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Amidst this controversy, a big news is coming out from the Taj Mahal. In fact, 4 tourists who were offering prayers in the mosque of the complex have been arrested by the police. Three of them are residents of Hyderabad and one from Azamgarh in UP.

The four tourists were offering prayers at the mosque located in the Taj complex, while prayers are allowed only on Fridays. According to information, on Wednesday, four youths from Hyderabad had come to Agra to pay obeisance to the Taj Mahal. After visiting the Taj Mahal, the four reached the mosque built in the premises, where they started praying. On getting the information, the CISF personnel deployed in the security of the Taj caught the four tourists at the spot and handed them over to the local Tajganj police station.  

Police have registered a case under Section 153 against the four accused. In fact, every week, on Juma i.e. Friday, only the locals are allowed to enter the mosque located in the Taj complex for prayers after showing their ID. In such a situation, these tourists who came from outside read the prayers on Wednesday, then the CISF personnel showed strictness and caught them.
