Let us inform you that on Thursday, the Loni Border Police had an encounter with the cow smugglers. In the encounter, 7 cow smugglers were injured by police bullets, which were later arrested. Two people engaged in cow slaughter escaped from the spot. Guns and sharp weapons have also been found from the arrested miscreants. Police had received intelligence that cattle were being slaughtered in a godown near the Behta Hajipur area. After the information, the Loni police reached the border police warehouse, where the work of cutting cattle by some people was going on. At the same time, the police immediately swung into action and surrounded the miscreants.
The miscreants saw themselves surrounded and opened fire on the police and tried to escape. Around 7 rounds were fired by the miscreants. Police also opened fire in their defence in about 13 rounds, injuring a total of 7 miscreants including Mustakim, Salman, Monu, Adarsh, Nazim, Asif, Bolar, who have been arrested and admitted for treatment. Meanwhile, Bhura and Danish managed to escape from the spot during the encounter. Police are currently looking for them.
