In the district, the UP Police has arrested a 70-year-old man for raping a four-year-old girl. The police had earlier registered a case of molestation in this case, but after the medical test and confirmation of rape from the victim's statement in the court, the section of rape has been augmented in the case. Giving information on Thursday, Inspector Ramendra Tiwari, in charge of Bharua Sumerpur police station, has told that the incident of rape of a four-year-old girl is 24 days old.
He said that earlier a case of molestation was registered in this case. He said that after the confirmation of rape from the medical test and the statement of the victim recorded in the court, the section of rape has been increased. Inspector said that 70-year-old accused Swamidin Prajapati was arrested from his house on Wednesday and sent behind the bars of the jail.
