Lucknow: A case of rape of a 4-year-old innocent girl has been registered in Alambagh Kotwali of Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow. Police have detained a class 9 student on charges of rape. Which has been sent to a juvenile home under the Juvenile Act. According to Inspector Dhananjay Singh, the elder sister of 4-year-old Innocent, a resident of Amethi, lives in a rented house in Barha. There are also tenants in the same house.
Police said she was at home on July 8. In the meantime, a 14-year-old teenager living in the same building arrived. Who took the innocent with him on the pretext of hanging around. After leaving the house, the accused reached the roof of the building with the girl. Where he did wrong with the innocent. He then threatened the child and fled from there. On reaching home, the child informed her elder sister about the incident. The girl also told her the name of the accused. But due to fear of public shame, the family did not file a case with the police. Meanwhile, the girl's father came to know about the incident.
According to Inspector Dhananjay Singh, on Monday, the girl's father came to Kotwali with her and lodged a complaint about the incident. After which the child's medical test was done. At the same time, the teenager has been taken into custody and sent to a juvenile home.
