Ghaziabad: The Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested two vicious robbers who carried out chain snatching, women's purses and mobile robberies in Ghaziabad. Police said that the robbers who committed several incidents of robbery are BBA students. Along with the guns cartridges and knives, gold mangalsutra and several gold chains were found from them. Both the accused have been identified as Kuldeep and Nishant, both residents of Muradnagar.
During interrogation, the accused have confessed that they used to rob gold jewellery, purses and mobiles of women on the way. These people used to make the elderly and women their victims. In the Morta area, the bullion trader used to sell the looted goods to Lalit Soni. The police have also arrested the businessman who buys the looted goods.
During interrogation, the accused have revealed that they used to carry out robberies for expensive hobbies and lavish lifestyles. At present, these accused have confessed to committing 11 major crimes. The police are now interrogating them. There are 11-11 cases of robbery registered against the accused in different police stations.
