Rampur: Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and MP from Rampur Lok Sabha seat Azam Khan's difficulties are not decreasing. Rampur MP seems to be trapped in several cases one after another. Another case has been registered against Azam Khan in Rampur. Rampur police have registered a case of robbery against Azam Khan. According to information, the police have registered the case against Azam Khan along with former CO Ale Hassan and six others.

These FIRs have been lodged at Thana Kotwali. The complaint alleges that the SP government has been accused of demolishing, looting and beating of houses in Ghosipura.  Police said some people had lodged a complaint in the case. If the case is investigated, the complaint has been found to be correct. Police said the land was taken in the name of building a Rampur Public School. The whole thing was illegal. which is under investigation. Further action will be taken only after investigation.

On Wednesday, Azam Khan suffered a major setback when the district court turned down the anticipatory bail of SP MP Azam Khan in a case of stealing 28 cases and books on land grabbing charges. The anticipatory bail applications filed by the MP were heard on Tuesday, which the court had reserved its verdict on the hearing.
