Chitrakoot: Gauri Yadav, a Rs 5.5 lakh prize dacoit who has become synonymous with terror in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, has been dumped in an encounter by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF). UP STF had an encounter with the gang of dacoit Gauri Yadav in which UP STF has succeeded.
The notorious Gauri Yadav was dumped by the Jabanj team of UP STF in an encounter with Gauri Yadav's gang in UP STF. UP STF team on special input killed Rs 5.5 lakh prize dacoit Gauri Yadav in an encounter near Madha in Bahilpurwa police station area of Chitrakoot in UP. It may be recalled that during the UP STF encounter with Gauri Yadav's gang, hundreds of rounds were fired from both sides and finally dacoit Gauri Yadav was dumped by the UP STF team.
The Uttar Pradesh police had announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh on the head of dacoit Gauri Yadav and Rs 50,000 by the Madhya Pradesh police. UP STF has recovered an AK-47, a Kalashnikov semi-automatic rifle, a 12 bore gun and hundreds of cartridges from the encounter site.
