Lucknow: The death of Altaf in police custody in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh has taken a new turn. UP Police found the girl kidnapped by 'Altaf', family is getting threats. Police have found the girl from Kasganj railway station. The girl's family members have also been informed. The statement of the girl has also been recorded before the magistrate. The girl's father said that they are yet to meet the daughter. Along with this, the father has appealed to the Superintendent of Police for protection.

The girl's father says that day after day 5-10 people come to his house and then threaten him and leave. He said he has appealed to the police for protection from such people. The girl's father said he did not know who the threats were. The UP police have assured security to the family members of the girl. Police have recovered the girl on Monday (November 15, 2021) after which she was produced before the court and a statement was recorded. The girl can be handed over to the family today. The victim's family's lawyer Vijay Sharma said that the girl's family has not been able to live peacefully in the house since the day of the incident and it was due to fear that the family had sought protection from the Superintendent of Police. The police force has currently been deployed at the girl's house. Media reports quoted police sources as saying that the girl told the interrogation that Altaf had called the girl to the bus stand after asking her to get a job.

He then took the girl to Mathura and then to Agra with his friend. The girl will be handed over to the family after being released by the magistrate. Altaf was detained by the police on the evening of November 8, 2021, to interrogate the missing girl. Altaf's postmortem report from Ahrauli village revealed that he was hanged to death. Five policemen have been suspended in the case. Altaf's father has earlier levelled allegations against the UP police but later changed the statement. The matter is currently under investigation.
