Lucknow: The death of a man in police in Agra has intensified. Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi was on her way to meet the family members of the deceased. But the police have stopped her in Lucknow. Priyanka Gandhi has attacked the government over this and said that ''wherever I go it stops me.'' Police said Priyanka is not allowed to go to Agra.

In fact, Rs 25 lakh was stolen from the warehouse of Jagdishpura police station in Agra. This was what was being questioned by the commuters of the police station. A sweeper was taken into custody by the police in this regard. Police say he had confessed to the crime. His health suddenly deteriorated during the recovery of money. When he was taken to the hospital, doctors declared him brought dead. The mother of the deceased says her son was revealing the names of several policemen, which led to his death. Priyanka Gandhi had left for Agra to meet the family members of the deceased but was stopped in Lucknow before that.

Priyanka was stopped by the police from going to Agra saying she did not have permission for it. The police said that in view of the seriousness of the case, the Agra District Collector has requested that no political leader be allowed to go there.
