Up polls: Alliance between SP and BHIM Army fixed, akhilesh and chandrashekhar declared remaining

Lucknow: In view of the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh, the alliance between Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bhim Army has been finalised. It is being told that SP President and former CM Akhilesh Yadav and Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar can announce this by holding a press conference with the SP office on Saturday. In fact, Chandrashekhar Azad had met Akhilesh Yadav on Friday after reaching the headquarters of the Samajwadi Party.

According to sources, discussions are going on for the last few days regarding the alliance and seat division between Bhim Army and SP. Chandrashekhar had also reached the SP headquarters on Thursday. After which it is being told that the formula of alliance has been decided. Only official announcement is yet to be made. Chandrashekhar had already said that his party has decided that it should go to the 2022 elections with an alliance. On the other hand, Akhilesh Yadav has also said that he will give competition to BJP in UP elections by joining small parties.

Earlier, while tweeting, Chandrashekhar Azad wrote that, 'There is great power in unity. It is not easy to defeat an elusive party like BJP without strength and unity. It is the responsibility of the leader of the coalition to take care of the representation and respect of the people of all the society. Today the Dalit class in UP expects Akhilesh Yadav to fulfill this responsibility.
