Lucknow: A speeding tractor-trolley hit a bike on Tuesday (April 11) afternoon near the Itha bridge in Kotwali Nanpara on the Bahraich-Rupaidiha highway in Uttar Pradesh. Two bike riders lost their lives in this painful accident. At the same time, as soon as the accident happened, the driver of the tractor-trolley fled from the spot along with the vehicle.

After getting the information about the accident, the police reached the spot and, after identifying the dead bodies, got them photographed and sent them to the hospital for a postmortem. According to the media report, near the Itha bridge of the Bahraich-Rupaidiha Highway in Nanpara Kotwali, at around noon on Tuesday afternoon, a tractor-trolley carrying bricks hit the bike coming from the opposite side.

In this accident, 20-year-old Junaid's son Anwar and 19-year-old Firoz's son Haleem, residents of Butcher Tola in Nanpara Kotwali and bike riders, died tragically. As soon as the accident happened, the driver fled along with the vehicle. As soon as the information about the accident was received, Kotwal Hemant Kumar Gaur sent Inspector Mantram and Bhaddar Verma, along with the police force, to the spot. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the accident was received, the family members also reached the spot and began to cry. Kotwal told that the dead bodies have been taken into custody and sent for postmortem, and the driver is being searched.
