Gorakhpur: A heartbreaking case has surfaced on Saturday in Kushinagar of the country's largest state, UP. Here 6 youths who went fishing by boat drowned in the pond. Four of these were rescued on the spot, while two died due to drowning. Both bodies have been sent for post-mortem by the police.
There is a big pond near the village of Bandhuchhapra, in which a person from Barwartanpur village has raised fish. Vishal (12), who survived, said that the fish farmer's resident Bari Tola Noor Alam (25) had taken him from the boat to the pond, telling him to go for fishing. Due to this, Dhananjay (20), Chand (12), Krishna (10) and Ankit (18) were in the boat. Noor Alam was driving a boat. On reaching the depth, the boat overturned uncontrollably, and all started sinking. When Vishal somehow got out and created a ruckus, the villagers ran.
Krishna and Ankit were taken out, Noor Alam swam out and escaped from the spot. The villagers rescued Dhananjay and Chand from underwater, by then they had died. On the information, SO Ram Krishna Yadav, SI PK Singh May Force reached and took both the dead bodies and sent it for post mortem. There has been a wave of mourning in the village due to the death of two boys. There is a bad condition of family members crying. This incident has created an atmosphere of mourning in the entire village.
