Lucknow: The rainy season is going on. The Weather Department has released the latest estimates about the rainfall in UP. According to this, rainfall is expected in 13 cities of the state including Lucknow on Saturday. According to the Weather Department, these cities include Barabanki, Unnao, Sitapur, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, Bareilly, Rampur, Rae Bareli, Kannauj, Ayodhya and nearby areas in addition to Lucknow.

According to the Weather Department, in addition to central Uttar Pradesh in the morning, rainfall is expected in many districts of Ruhelkhand and its surrounding areas. Heavy rain continues in the state since Janmashtami. On Thursday, the rain was recorded in almost all the cities from western UP to eastern UP. Prayagraj recorded the highest rainfall at 31 mm.

Bundelkhand received good rain on Thursday. Jhansi recorded 10.8, Orai 12 and Hamirpur 27 mm. In addition, three spots of rain were recorded in Agra and 26 mm in Aligarh. Kanpur recorded 15 mm of rainfall, 11 in Etawah, 26 in Lakhimpur Kheri, 4 in Bahraich, 2 in Banda, 4 in Sultanpur, 7 in Rae Bareli and 6 mm in Hardoi. Not much rainfall was recorded in Terai and Purvanchal, which are already experiencing a flood situation.
