Lucknow: huge quantity of government medicines dumped in a well in Gulauri village under the Haldharpur area of Mau district of Uttar Pradesh has been recovered. Giving this information on Sunday, a health department official said that a committee has been formed to investigate the matter.

According to information received from official sources, life-saving medications were found dumped on a large scale in a well in Gulauri village under the Haldharpur police station area of the Ratanpura block development area on Saturday. After getting information about the matter, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the district issued orders for an inquiry. Arunendra, the owner of the well, informed that he had reached his fields to prepare for wheat sowing when he saw a DCM (small truck) leaving from there. Arunendra has expressed apprehension that people from DCM had thrown medicines in the well.

He said that the marks of DCM wheels have been found on the inside of the field, which has also been reported to the police. It is being told that the period of use of more of the medicines found in the well was going to end in 2023. As soon as the matter was reported, a crowd of villagers gathered in the field.
