LUCKNOW: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh plans to create an online Integrated Temple Information System that will include descriptions, details, and history of all of the state's temples, as well as route maps for tourists.
The Department of Religious Affairs has previously requested that the managing director of UP Electronics Corporation develop software and upload the above-mentioned temple information within the next six months. The finance department will soon issue a payment of Rs one crore.
The Department of Religious Affairs has sought a budget of Rs 1000 crore for departmental activities in the financial year 2022-23, compared to Rs 32.52 crore in 2017-18 and Rs 614.88 crore in 2021-22, according to a government spokeswoman.
The government plans to work on the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor Supplementary Project within the next 100 days. The department also intends to run the Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan in Ghaziabad and work on the Vedic Science Centre's second phase, which will cost Rs 934.46 lakh.
