From September 25, 2021, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, AKTU, has begun the registration procedure for UPCET 2021 Counseling. Candidates can apply for the counselling round online at upcet.admissions.nic.in, which is the official website of UPCET Admissions.
The counselling will be conducted for admission to B.Tech, M.Tech (Integrated), B.Tech (AG) B.Des./ B.Pharm/ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ B.Voc/ MBA (Integrated)/ MBA/ MCA (Integrated), B.Tech/ B.Pharm. (Lateral Entry) courses. The counselling is conducted in five rounds by the University. Students are required to register themselves for the counselling process using their application number and enrollment number.
The counselling registration fee is Rs. 1000/-. Even if the candidate does not report for admission to the assigned institutions, the amount paid for registration for counselling by the candidate will be forfeited and will not be reimbursed under any circumstances.
Seats will be allocated through counselling purely on the basis of the candidate's merit, subject to the order of preference provided for seats and the availability of seats in the category. Counseling enrollment was initially set to commence on September 16, but was postponed owing to unforeseen circumstances. The reason for the postponement was not revealed by the university.
