The Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission has resumed the process of applying for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor in Non-Government Aided Degree Colleges from today. Keeping in view the convenience of interested candidates, it has been decided to do so.

Details of Posts:-
Through this recruitment, 2003 posts of Assistant Professors will be filled up for a total of 47 different subjects. These include 162 from Hindi, 133 in English, 102 in Sociology, 142 in Geography, 109 in Political Science, 100 in Economics, 159 in Chemistry, B. Assistant Professors of various subjects including 113 from Ed, 98 in Physics, 96 in Zoology, 79 in Commerce, 96 in Mathematics, 92 from Botany, 74 in Sanskrit, 23 in Physical Education and 41 in History will be recruited.
Educational Qualification:-
Candidates applying for these posts of Assistant Professor should have a master's degree in the subject relating to any recognized university. Candidates are required to pass the post-graduation by at least 55% marks. In addition, only candidates with NET/SET/SLET pass can apply for these posts.
Age Limit:-
The age of the applicant should be more than 21 years and less than 62 years. On the other hand, candidates with reservation ambit will not be exempted from the upper age limit.
