The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the schedule of all the postponed examinations and upcoming examinations, including civil service, on Friday. According to the new schedule of UPSC, Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2020 is now going to be held on October 4. The remaining interviews of UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 will start from July 20. The candidates are going to be personally informed about the date of their interview (personality test).

The UPSC Preliminary Exam was scheduled to be held on 31 May, but the exam was postponed due to coronavirus lockdown. Before this, the Commission had also postponed the interview for the Civil Services Examination 2019 to be held from 23 March to 3 April. Now the Civil Services Main Examination 2020 will be held on 8 January 2021. The new schedule has been released on the official website www.upsc.gov.in. UPSC aspirants waiting for the new dates of the Civil Services Examination. UPSC Civil Services Examination is considered to be one of the most challenging competitive examinations in the country.

There will be a total of 796 recruitments through UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020 and out of these 24 vacancies are reserved for the disabled. Simultaneously, Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Services (IPS) and Indian Foreign Services (IFS), Railway Group A (Indian Railway Accounts Service), Indian Postal Services, Indian Postal Service, Indian Trade Services through UPSC Civil Services.
