Union Public Service Commission is soon going to reduce the upper age limit to 26.

At present, the candidates between the age group of 21 and 32 years are eligible to appear for the examinations.

However, there would be no reduction in the upper age limit for the SC/ ST category candidates which is presently 37 years.

The Central Government will take a final decision on this matter.
