The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC is recruiting for the posts of Medical Officer. Recently the Commission had also conducted a CBT i.e. Computer Based Examination for recruitment, the results of which have now been released. On October 20, 2019, a computer-based examination was conducted by UPSC for the recruitment of 327 posts of General Duty Medical Officer.

The UPSC released an advertisement for 327 posts of Medical Officer for the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi on 12 January 2019.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services (Main) will announce the results of the examinations in December. According to sources, a UPSC official told that "the results of the Civil Services Mains examinations will be released by December 20, 2019. Candidates can check the result through the website- http://upsc.gov.in/." Was held till 29 September 2019. Those who clear the mains will be present for the interview round. It is mandatory to bring 275 marks in interview.

The recruitment examination is conducted in 3 stages namely Preliminary, Main and Interview. Through these, candidates have to be selected for administrative positions in various All India Services and Central Civil Services including IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and IRTS.
