The United States of America is the first nation across the globe to surpass 10 million coronavirus infections. The country is facing the third wave of the COVID-19 virus spread across the nation. US reported 131,420 COVID-19 cases on Saturday. The country is reporting over 100,000 infections four times in the past seven days. On the whole, the country has reported about a million cases in the past 10 days, the highest rate since the first novel coronavirus case in Washington.
