New Delhi: Tennis champion Ashleigh Barty tells her fellow players about cricket. Yes, you heard it right. That also during the live press conference. Ashleigh Barty won the French Open this year. She has also played cricket. Barty, who lives in Australia, has played in Australia's Big bash League. Barty shared his cricketing knowledge with fellow and young player Coco Goff and tennis media ahead of the US Open. Before the start of the US Open, Barty was holding a press conference where Coco Goff asked him questions about cricket.

I don't know about cricket, maybe Barty can explain to me, he said. "It's not like baseball," Barty said, replying to a question on cricket. In cricket, the ball has to bounce before it comes to the batsman and the difference between the two is two yards less than the baseball. I can sit here for hours, but, perhaps, you will not understand it.

Barty then asked if there are baseball bases in cricket, to which Barty replied, "No, cricket has no base wickets. Journalists present at the press conference asked Barty what happens in cricket. "You have to score more and more runs in cricket, whether by running in the middle of the wicket or playing big shots in the ground." The people there were surprised to see their cricketing knowledge.
